On March 16, 2023, the Academy of Intellects organized a workshop for parents with the theme of ‘KURI.’ The workshop was titled ‘Guiding through ADHD’ and was aimed at providing guidance and support to parents of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

The workshop was led by two experienced professionals, Aishath Ibthisham Hilmy and Mariyam Nuzuha. Aishath Ibthisham Hilmy is a Board-Certified Cognitive Specialist with experience in teaching children with cognitive disorders, including ADHD. Mariyam Nuzuha, on the other hand, is an Educational Consultant with over 25 years of experience as an educator and six years of counseling background. Together, they brought their expertise to help parents understand and manage ADHD in their children better.

The aim of the workshop was to help parents gain a deeper understanding of ADHD, its causes, symptoms, and how it affects children’s behavior and learning. Attendees were provided with valuable insights and practical strategies on how to support and guide their children with ADHD in their academic and social lives. Overall, this workshop served as an excellent platform for parents to learn and gain valuable insights into supporting their children with ADHD.
